Gabrielle Lubliner
December 19, 2025Gabrielle LUBLINER is a visual artist, researcher, and archivist born in Caen in 1996.
Through installations combining photography, video, film, and sculpture, she explores connections between architecture, archaeology, archives, and affect. The tools and materials she uses bear traces of their past uses or are on the brink of disappearing. Scraps of architectural models or her late father’s filmmaking equipment, for instance, serve as vessels to question our relationship with memory and transformation. Through her intervention, these objects become abstract signs, letters of an unknown alphabet, inviting visitors to imagine new narratives.
Graduated with honors from the École nationale supérieure de la photographie in Arles in 2024, as well as from the École européenne supérieure d’art in Brittany (Rennes) in 2017, she lives and works between Paris (FR) and The Hague (NL).
Since October 2024, she has been a member of the Haagse Kunstenaars platform (Stroom Den Haag).
