The exhibition Oină. Sport Național. explores where and how the traditional Romanian sport of oină continues to survive today.

Once an integral part of community life, from children playing along village streets to ritual moments of celebration, oină shaped the social and cultural fabric of rural Romania. After 1989, the game gradually faded from collective memory and for many became reduced to a simple label, “the national sport,” detached from context and meaning.
