Andrel Argeseanu is an artist whose perhaps unconventional Journey channels personal explorations across diverse mediums.

A food engineering graduate, Andrei has gained a scientific perspective on life, a fascination that subtly morphs into his art. While biochemistry infuses his work with rational preci- sion, the intuitive is equally alive. Andrei questions the very structure of life, from cell to emotion, often returning, yet ever evolving, to existential themes such as death, transformation or the expression of the undeniable presence of anger within us.

Yet, his joviality persists, and through this, the search for bal- ance. He experiments in mediums, from transparency to volume, from painting to poetry, from individual search to the relationship with the outside and the community, vital for an artist. Among the notable exhibitions he has participat- ed in is the Bucharest Biennale in 2024, and currently, among other things, he is working on a new edition of PROTOTYPE ZINE, a project that promotes freedom of expression.
