SINEMA STRATA is a content project born out of personal needs. Since we’re starting to spend a lot of time indoors, films tend to become - as always, some of the most reliable & worthy distractions. We have invited FRIENDS to share their FIVE FAVOURITE FILMS, thus serving through recommendations & inspiration our spontaneous #filmclub 🤡

Darie Dup's artistic course is somewhere different from that of Romanian sculpture “gangs”, usually marked by the interest in form and materiality and often tributary to modernism, let's say, après la lettre. After rooting from the beginning of his career as an artist through the sculptural vocabulary of the language renewals of the '70s - '80s and beyond, his artistic kinship - sought after or accidental - were rather with Tony Cragg (for the diversity of used materials), Antony Gormley (common interest in the interpreted body), Robert Gober (recourse to anatomical fragmentation), Katharina Fritsch or Ugo Rondinone (sharing with them the bold choice for strong colors).
