Michele Bressan (b.1980) is an Italian born visual artist, working with photography and film. Since 1991, Bressan lives and works in Buchares, Romania.

His work documents aspects of Romanian post-communist substantiveness, using the photographic medium as a means of artistic research. By portraying representative surroundings through intimate series marshalling as a subjective visual journal, Bressan’s artistic approach enables the viewer to empathize with specific scenes, while witnessing the particularities and mechanisms of a society intercepted in its slow transition process.
