Born in Galaţi, Romania, on October 16, 1991, Roxana Ajder is a contemporary painter currently living and working in Cluj-Napoca. Her work addresses issues related to the ambivalent features of the concept of femininity and beauty in contemporary society. She is particularly interested in the plasticity of the human body.


In 2020, due to her love of art and determination to face higher challenges, she co-founded Galeria de sprijin (), a charitable art donation platform initiated out of the desire to help hospitals manage the current health crisis.


She worked as a gallery asistant at Galleria Doris Ghetta, Ortisei (IT) in 2022, at Viltin Galeria, Budapest (HU) in 2017, at Associazione Socio Culturale ProCultura – RoArte di Roma (IT) in 2016 and 2018, and at Galeria Plan B in Berlin (DE) in 2014 and 2015.
